New Pics

Since Fisher isn't quite 6 weeks old yet, there isn't a lot of activity to capture on camera to share with everyone. He pretty much eats, sleeps and poops. Although he is starting to smile which makes us very happy. I could stare at him all day just waiting to get that smile out of him!
We had visits from 3 of the grandparents and 1 great-grandpa this past weekend. It was great to see them all, we missed you Gigi!
I've resorted to sleeping on the couch these days because the swing is easier to have him sleep in with his spit ups. Chris gets some peaceful sleep with the bed all to himself since the dogs hang out with us downstairs. Chris is out of town this week which means that he is getting the best sleep he's had in awhile. He turned down my offer of calling him when Fisher wakes up to eat. I'm not sure why?!
So, here are a few pics just to keep everyone up to date.

Mom & Fisher go out!

Fisher and I went on our first outing today besides a couple quick dinners with the fams. And out of all places for him to go, we went to a bridal shower! I think it was the first time that I actually got semi dressed up since we had him. It felt really good but of course 2 mins before we walked out the door he spit up all over my leg. I hope nobody noticed that I smelled like breast milk!
He's almost out of some of his 0-3 month clothes if you can't tell by the shirt. Luckily though all of the different brands vary in sizes so now we can move into the other 0-3 month stuff. It's like a whole new wardrobe but I think that his favorite outfit is just a diaper.

Our little chunker

Fisher is now 4 weeks old and getting bigger every day. We can't believe how much he grows and changes right before our eyes! He's now grunting a lot when he stretches or you try to move him when he's sleeping or comfortable. He's losing his hair in front, well technically he has a little patch in front and then baldness and then more hair in the back. I think that he just wants to see what he's going to look like when he's an old man since the Weingartner's aren't known for their thick hair later in life.
The little guy is not so little anymore, he's weighing in at 10 lbs 13 oz and has about three chins. It's the only time in life that three chins is adorable. His skinny legs have the cute little rolls and he's almost out of the onesies that for awhile were the only thing that fit him.
Sleeping at night is going ok, I think he still has the nights and days a little mixed up. His longest stretch at night is 4 hours between feedings which has given me a 3 hour stretch. Who knew 3 hours could feel so good!
These pictures are a week old. I'll get the new ones off our camera and onto the computer soon to show you his new hair.

Fisher is now over 2 weeks old! He's getting so big, but I guess that will happen when all you do is eat! We've been lucky enough to have lots of family in town to visit and meet Fisher. Although he sleeps through most of the visits I can tell that he is really enjoying everyone! We can't wait for him to meet his other cousins, Zane and Emerson, and his Aunt Josie. Ella has shown us how much fun it will be in a couple of years but for now we'll stick with the sleeping most of the day!
